This sculptural pomegranate is a 3-dimensional hollow form; constructed -- raised, soldered and surface finished -- in 18-karat yellow gold, then beaded with faceted and smooth ruby and pink sapphire beads.
This tiny, one of a kind pendant measures approximately 13 mm wide X 13 mm deep. The calyx - the little crown - contains a delicate, protruding stamen cluster in 18-karat gold.
The pendant is suspended on a tubular bail that glides on an oxidized silver foxtail chain with a hand made toggle clasp.
