Pomegranate pendant in matte gold and rich, warm pinks and reds; a sensuous form with strong metaphorical allusions.
This sculptural pomegranate is a 3-dimensional hollow form; hand fabricated - raised, soldered and surface finished by me in my San Francisco studio.
Metals: the pomegranate element is made in 18-karat yellow gold, with an oxidized sterling silver stamen cluster.
Beads: the pomegranate is faceted and smooth ruby, pink sapphire and garnet beads.
Pendant measurements: 11 mm wide X 11 mm deep X 18.78 mm long. In inches, the pendant measures about 7/16" wide and about 12/16" long.
Chain and clasp: 20 inches long oxidized silver chain, with a hand made toggle clasp.
