This brooch is currently in the Portola Valley Art Fest 5th Anniversary Show at the Kriewall-Haehl Gallery in Portola Valley, CA.

Sensuous and luminous in silvery blacks, golds and pearls, this sculptural heart is a 3-dimensional hollow form; fabricated -- raised, soldered and surface finished -- in oxidized sterling silver and 22-karat gold. The brooch is adorned with protruding Biwa pearls and 23 1/2 karat gold utilizing the keum boo technique.

The brooch is flat on the back and fastens with a double pin back.

This one-of-a-kind brooch measures approximately 50 mm high X 47 mm wide X 25 mm deep, approx.
